If you look to your left, there's a new ad for the
Brandstorming store. It's a series of screencast trainings for social media I've put together in partnership with the Small Business Television Network.
I've been training companies on how to use social media to connect with their audience for three years now, and saw an opportunity to reach out to small business owners and show them how they can integrate their marketing and public relations with social media tactics. I've been in marketing for over 10 years, and what I do with social media is look for ways to magnify local presence.
Much of what I teach you may know, but these lessons are proving valuable for those who may understand Facebook and Twitter, but don't know how to apply it to the budgets and staffing levels of small and microbusiness. This training is geared towards small business, but social media consultants and those looking to get into the business will find it useful - even if they already are successful selling.
This is one of the reasons I'm always interested in stories about local retailers. There are so many, sharing information won't hurt us (the pie is pretty big). If you sell to small business - I want to hear about it. I'm sure the other readers will as well.
To visit the store, head on over to
http://store.brandstorming.com, and we'll have affiliate and contest information up later in the month.
