AUTHORS NOTE - Right now - this blog is copied from my WordPress blog. Please subscribe there William Hard WordPress

Social Media changes faster than a texting teenager.  Every day I figure out something, only to have 10 other things to figure out.  Keeping up is, to say the least, difficult.  Try this new feature, link to that, do the other thing and did you get that update implemented…

Social Media - More is going on than you think

Please subscribe to my regular blog here William Hard WordPress

For this post, I am going to talk about the overall philosophy I have about social media. This is the direction I believe social media and communication is heading and my personal goal, through this rapidly changing world, is to hang on the the spirit of the philosophy, since rules, procedures, what's hot and what's not changes daily.  With that boring…

Social Media Equals Referrals

Subscribe to my regular blog here William Hard Wordpress

Do you need to increase sales? Do you think you have exhausted all your good leads? Then it is time to shift your focus. Dig in to your current customers, you know, the ones you have already sold. The power of Linkedin

Linkedin.  We all know it and many of you will read this blog on Linkedin.  But do you know the real power of Linkedin?

I have been working with social sites since the days of MySpace (RIP, lol).  Facebook, MySpace, Google ads and whatever else I could do to get music out there, I tried.  I have had a Linkedin profile, but I really did not do much with it.  Until this year.

Here is an overview.  Linkedin offers Personal Profiles, Company Profiles, Group…

A Taste of Temecula in Big Bear - Le Dolce Vita Style

Big Bear Lake, California. It is Memorial weekend and we kick off summer officially here.  Boats on the lake, BBQ's everywhere, yard sales galore.  Every restaurant wooing customers with events and specials so that their place is the one to remember all summer.  So instead of choosing to play the usual establishments, I choose a place called Le Dolce Vita Wine Tasting Room.  It is their one year anniversary.  They are, in Big Bear terms, new.  They do not serve whiskey or food.  They do not…

Social Media and your business - Part 1

William Hard - New Media Marketing - Big Bear City, CA

Many business owners today are hearing about Social Media.  They want it, but do not understand exactly how to use it. Do I set up a Facebook page? I already have a website and pay my local phone book company for a listing, they set up everything for me. Why am I on Yelp?  Why on earth should I Twitter? Phone apps are for kids (read under 40 here). these are questions that I run into all the time.  I personally come from a family…
